Director Lingusamy and his brother have been sentenced to six months in jail in the PVP check fraud case.

Lingusamy made his directorial debut in Tamil with Anandham. His subsequent films like Run, Sandakozhi, Paiya became huge hits in Kollywood. After that the film Anjaan directed by him failed. Apart from that he was trolled severely. It is said that next he is planning to direct a film called "Yenni yezhu Natkal" with Karthi and Samantha.
For that, he has taken a loan of Rs 1.03 crore from PVP Capitals, the producer of Naan E, Irandam ulagam. But unfortunately, the seven-day film could not be started due to some problems, and it seems that PVP company asked Lingusamy to return the money, and then Lingusamy gave the cheque.
But the check given by Lingusamy bounced due to lack of money. Shocked by this, PVP filed a check fraud case against Lingusamy.
The Chennai Saidappet court, which heard the case, sentenced Lingusamy and his brother Subhash Chandra Bose to six months in jail. This has created a stir in Kollywood.

Meanwhile, Lingusamy's side has said that an appeal will be filed against the verdict. Lingusamy last directed The Warrior.
In this situation, the Saidapet Court has sentenced director Lingusamy to 6 months imprisonment. PVP Capital had filed a case in the court alleging that director Lingusamy had taken a loan from them for the film "Yenni yezhu Natkal" and the check given for the loan of Rs 1.03 crore was returned unpaid .
