Knock at the Cabin 2023 by M. Night Shyamalan - Apocalypse Horror Movie - Universal Pictures

Something apocalyptic is coming in the first trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s Knock at the Cabin.

” M. Night Shyamalan’s new film, Knock at the Cabin, is a horror film centered around two white gays and their adopted daughter. When the family takes a trip to a cabin in the woods (isn’t there a moratorium on that plot device after The Cabin in the Woods?), some creepy people tie them up and tell them they have to do something bad to avoid the apocalypse.

What the bad thing is has not yet been revealed, but if something unsavory happens to this kid Shyamalan, watch your back! Jonathan Groff and Ben Aldridge play the gay dads, while Dave Bautista, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Abby Quinn, and Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) are the apocalypse-foreseeing kidnappers who tie up the couple.

Look, I know a lot of gay guys want Dave Bautista to tie them up — but not like that, Shyamalan. The film debuts in theaters on February 3, 2023.

In the first, nearly three-minute look at the upcoming Universal Pictures movie directed by the Old and Servant helmer, Jonathan Groff and Ben Aldridge play two fathers who take their daughter (Kristen Cui) on a trip to a cabin in the woods.

But as the family gets settled, their relaxing forest getaway morphs into something out of a nightmare when four people — played by Dave Bautista, Rupert Grint, Nikki Amuka-Bird and Abby Quinn — come knocking and take them hostage. And the reason they’re there might be more frightening than the predicament they’re in.

While vacationing at a remote cabin, a young girl and her parents are taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand that the family make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse. With limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before all is lost.
