According to the official, it struck the truck in Nandur Naka and quickly took fire. He claimed the injured were sent urgently to a hospital close by. The truck was headed to Pune from Nashik while the bus was going from Yavatmal to Mumbai.
According to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, the accident's cause will be looked at. According to the Chief Minister's office, the government would cover the injured people's medical costs.
According to Nashik guardian minister Dada Bhuse, an ex gratia of Rs 5 lakh per person has also been announced for the relatives of those killed in the disaster.
